There was a time when graphic design professionals was really relied on their desktops PC for their work. Graphic designing on a laptop was not an option because - mostly – laptops were slower, too delicate to use, and of course, far more expensive than a Desktop PC with higher specification. This technology enables users to switch from the integrated graphics to the discrete GPU in the laptop without requiring a reboot. Designers should also make sure that the GPU used in the laptop is capable of supporting dual monitor setups. This is often a prerequisite for hardcore graphic design work.
Warranty: Since designers are not always computer jocks, a laptop for design tasks should come with longer warranty and excellent customer service. Designers should check out the support policy of a company before buying model. The multimedia laptops can be expensive and spare parts can also be costly to replace, so a good warranty can save you in the long run. The laptops also come with useful apps preinstalled. It is useful to buy the models that come with OS recovery DVD and driver CDS.

Asus Transformer Prime TF201-B1-GR is a Asus Eee Pad 10,1 inch tablet with 32GB internal memory and now it has a special price of about ~~$599~~ $499 (view deal and price). This tablet is also known as Transformer 2 and it is the latest tablet from Asus. (I don't know if the name will be the same because the guys from Asus have some legal problems, as I heard, with Hasbro - the company that makes the Transformer Toys.)
TF201-B1-GR’s specs
Asus Transformer Prime TF201-B1-GR has a grey color, from here the GR code from the end and it's Tegra 3 chip is one of the latest and best mobile processors. This processor is different form others because it has 4 cores and an additional fifth one that has about 500 Mhz. This 5th core is used when the tablet is not used for gaming and it's the standby mode, for example, or does nothing. There are are more technical specifications to tell about but I don't think that the specs are important. Pros and cons
Pros: you should get this kind of gadget because it is easy to use, very portable, it's battery last about 12 hours and because it has a Tegra 3 chip with 4-5 cores. Another plus is the thing that it has two cameras: one for taking photos and the other one for Skype. You can even attach a keyboard if you want to type better because the brand that produces this gadget sells even a keyboard or dock that is attachable. This dock has USB ports and a supplementary battery. (The default autonomy of the gadget is around 10-12 hours but with the keyboard you get even more.)
Cons: it does not have Android 4 - Android ICS, but it has the latest tablet Android which is 3.2. But I think that Asus will update all his tablets (also Transformer 1) with the latest operating system from Google.
Conclusion
If you want a great tablet than I think you should go with Asus and the model Prime TF201-B1-GR because their tablets are very light, portable and intuitive in usage. I think a child will have no problem using this tablet for gaming, drawing or other things that kids do.

Videos also play fast and without stutter, so we have no complaints there too. If you are a heavy Office user and do other production jobs, this might not be the most powerful laptop you would find.

Toshiba Satellite L775D-S7226 Is It Worth Buying?

Beside its 17.3 inch 1600x900 TFT display and blue-ray drive, Toshiba Satellite L775D-S7226 is generally one perfect example of how even a great laptop manufacturer like Toshiba could make a very disappointing product.
This L775D-S7226 is advertised as having dedicated M series Radeon GPU. Actually it is only using lowly G-series integrated graphics.
Actually, it is a beautiful laptop indeed. It’s brushed dark blue finish is really nice and thermally cold to the touch. Well, I love the feel of cold aluminum, but don’t know about you. Unfortunately, the finish attract lots of fingerprints and dust. You’ll definitely face problems with them unless you are using this laptop in a dust-free environment.
Toshiba Satellite L775D-S7226 is using a quad-core processor. But seems like this laptop couldn’t manage to work as fast as it is advertised. There are bloatware softwares comes pre-installed. Maybe you should do a clean OS install to make it free from them.
The worst thing about Toshiba Satellite L775D-S7226 that make it not worth buying is the GPU performance. Do some search on Google, and you’ll find that actually there is no such 6500M model available today. (Only 6530, 6550, & 6570). The GPU is just the basic integrated 6520G that all A6 3400s have. There is no dedicated 6500M series GPU in the notebook despite advertised, just the lowly integrated 6520G that can barely come close to running 3 year old games at ‘almost’ 30fps at lowest global and application settings. If you're a gamer, I assume that only light MMOs will play well.

The Lenovo G560’s Design
As with most budget laptops, the Lenovo G560-0679AKU's chassis is made of plastic. While some low priced laptops have tried to draw attention with bright colors and finishes, (Toshiba Satellite L645D-S4025 - ($350.00) for example), Lenovo has gone for a more sedate look, covering the G560 in matte gray. The plastic chassis has very little flex to it, and molded into the lid is a ridge for improved grip while carrying. The laptop itself measures 1.4 by 15 by 9.6 inches (HWD), and weighs 5.3 pounds, on a par with other 15-inch desktop replacement laptops.
The full-size keyboard has a chiclet-style layout, with a compact numeric pad, which is common for 15.6-inch laptops. While the keyboard is comfortable to type on, Lenovo has tweaked the layout slightly, swapping the positions of the function key and the Ctrl key —a small thing to get used to, but still bothersome.
Whereas many manufacturers are including multitouch capability into their laptops, even when the functionality isn't quite right, Lenovo plays it safe, offering only single-touch tracking that works exactly as it should. The silky matte finish of the touchpad has a nice feel to it, but will likely develop shiny spots as it is worn from regular use.
The 15.6-inch display is a widescreen, large enough for one or two people to watch a movie comfortably, or to run two large windows side by side for multitasking. The 1,366 by 768 resolution allows you to watch 720p video, which is more than sufficient for viewing DVDs and Web video from sources like Netflix and Hulu.

My first reason for buying TimelineX AS5820-6401 is its battery. I need a laptop that could serve me well for at least 4-5 hours, since I travel a lot. It has 6000 mAh battery. Well, that’s quite great for me. Although it seems like the battery will not last for 8 hours at common setting like what Acer’s has claimed.
Here is what I got for the battery:

If you are using default brightness and volume halfway, this Acer TimelineX series will give you about 4.5 hours.
With default brightness and volume halfway, the battery will last about 4.5 hours if you are browsing the web, chatting on an instant messenger, and playing music using Windows Media Player.
With the brightness set to its lowest but not turning off the screen and idling the laptop without any application running, you’ll get 10+ hours.
For most users, you will probably end up between 4 and 5 hours. I bet you know that it is still better than 2-3 hours that you could get from other competitors in this price range.

My second reason why I consider this AS5820-6401 deserves to get 5 stars rating is the processor. It is not easy for us to get an i5 laptop which priced under $650. Acer Aspire TimelineX AS5820-6401 is powered by the 2.66GHz Intel Core i5-480M dual-core processor.

Design and Sensor
Canon EOS 7D has unique sensor. Although packed with 18 million pixels in the sensor measuring 22.3 x 14.9 millimeters (APS-C), the result picture remains smooth without noise that is so common to be found on small sensor with a large megapixel.
It is because the use of the latest technology, the coupled photo diode with gapless microlens technology that is applied on Canon EOS 7D. Gapless microlens itself is a technology that shrinks the distance between the micro lens that is in part to falling light sensor with shorter fixed focus. That is how EOS 7D can accommodate more pixels on its small sensor.

However, best sensor technology is worthless without a good focus accuracy, isn’t it? Canon has made some improvements on this focus issue. One of them is implanting 19 point focus sensors deployed from the center of the frame into vertical and horizontal lines.
Live View
In the past, live view function on a professional camera is taboo. But Canon EOS 7D has it, and it has been proved extremely helpful. There is a special button to activate the live view that is easily accessible by your right hand’s thumb. The same button also serves to activate the video recorder on the camera. So while recording video, you can simply capture still images (still) by pressing the same button.
The focus in live view mode on EOS 7D is better than the previous versions. Annoying shutter lag is now better handled. With the live view mode, you don’t have to worry about loosing your beautiful moments.
The only problem that you might find in live view mode is the minimal luminous space. The system focuses is a little bit "confused" when it discovers low contrast object.
Oh yes, one thing that must be considered is when the video recording mode is active. You can only measure the focus when recording started. Thereafter, the focus must be rotated manually. It is a must for Canon to improve this function on its next DSLR series.
Canon EOS 7D is really a great choice. The continuous shooting mode owned by 7D is more than just great. Imagine, eight for second frame capable of taking fast movements without pause, which means even at the highest resolution you can always have best pictures. The Canon's DIGIC 4 processor embedded in the 7D may responsible for this.

On other word, the camera can take picture with its image and auto focus sensor without having to wait for the mirror to lift up every time you push the shutter.

With this technology, you can take pictures of moving objects in ten frames per second (Sony Alpha 55) and seven frames per second (Sony Alpha 33). The Translucent Mirror technology is maximized with the ability to have up to 15 focus on the sensor. It also makes the camera able to activate its auto focus function as soon as it is needed when you record a full HD movie.

Huawei S7 and Ideos X3 – Can’t wait for these two new gadgets? Wait for the next MWC to see these great tablet PC show off their performance.

It is true that Huawei is more well known as a network company rather than as smart phone makers. But it has also released some smart phone models under its flag. And this year, Huawei will roll out its new tablet PC and smart phone.

Huawei S7 Slim tablet PC is announced to show up on Mobile World Congress that will be held in Barcelona. Just lake the label that entitled to it, this S7 seems slimmer than Huawei’s previous tablet PC.

And the best way to connect your cell phone to your laptop is through Bluetooth. Of course it is possible to connect them via data cable, but that wouldn’t be that simple. People wouldn’t noticed that you are connected to the internet through your cell phone when you connect them through Bluetooth, right? Well, buying cheap Bluetooth dongle is an option. Judging from the code, the EOS 550D is actually the successor of the EOS 500D. What kind of changes are brought by the EOS 550D? What new features are embedded in this entry-level Canon DSLR camera?
Canon EOS 550D still has similar physical appearance to Canon’s previous series (like the 450D and 500D). But there are few minor differences in body indentations that are now more rounded. The laying of the buttons around the body is also still the same as the previous series. The form of buttons that surround the LCD screen on the back has now become more square, not round anymore like the previous series. I do agree that the design and engineering that went into the MacBook Air is extraordinary, but it's certainly a much more specialized product than the standard 13-inch MacBook and won't be as universally useful as that popular system. The biggest compromises, which have been well-documented, come in its connectivity: The MacBook Air finds room for only two USB ports and doesn't include a built-in optical drive, FireWire, Ethernet, or mobile broadband. And like with its other laptops, Apple refuses to outfit the Air with a media-card reader or an expansion card slot. Offsetting its sparse connectivity are genuinely useful new features including new trackpad gesture controls and the ability to wirelessly "borrow" another system's optical drive. What would your life be with two USB ports on your laptop?
Physically, the footprint is not much different than a 13-inch MacBook or MacBook Pro that other members of my household own. However, it's the thinness and light weight of this design that brings out the "wow," for those who see it. If you want to use it on your lap in a large chair or sofa, it is simply comfortable. If you need to stop while walking, and stand against a wall and check something very quickly, while it can still be slightly awkward, the light weight makes this possible. Still, I'd try not to do this, in fear of dropping the precious unit. You do see some Apple marketing images of people using the device standing up. This would likely be even more comfortable with the 11-inch model.
The reason one would choose this updated 13-inch MacBook Air is simple! This particular model gives you the thinness and light "wow," factors that defined the MacBook Air since its introduction nearly four years ago. However, this model gives you something that was not offered at this price point previously. A nearly fully functional and performing notebook computer. The included 1.86 GHZ Core 2 Duo processor is not a slouch. 2GB of memory is not bad in efficient OS X, and the 256 GB of solid state memory is not only competitive storage capacity to similar notebooks, but yet it is incredibly fast. The slight hit in processor and memory compared to a MacBook Pro is at least partly made up for by the speed of solid state memory. Just check out the boot up time on this device. It boots up fast. Plus, when it sleeps, open it back up, for instant on. It's a new way of experiencing a computer.
This 13-inch model has a higher resolution display than the 13-inch MacBook Pro, so you will fit more of your windows, pictures, etc. on the display. Indeed, it matches the resolution of the stock 15-inch models. What don't you get on this model and do I miss it? Obviously, once again, Superdrive is missing. I do not miss this. I have Superdrive on my desktop computer, and you can always buy the USB Superdrive for less than one hundred dollars, if you want that capability when at your desk. This Air loses the backlit keyboard, one suspects due to the even slimmer and lighter design.

Logitech Illuminated Keyboard is not only for gamers – keyboard’s particular market, – the illuminated keyboard is also made for anyone who works a lot with their keyboard. The bottom line is that it is carefully designed to give you the most pleasurable typing experience. Don’t you want one? Let's cut to chase: is this Logitech’s keyboard good? Hell yes! I first became interested in it because of the design, but after trying, I immediately liked Logitech PerfectStroke Key System. Subtle touch of the key and just as Logitech said the long trip is 50% longer when compared with a typical laptop keyboard and certainly longer than Apple's flat keyboard. Finally and thankfully, Logitech has decided to use standard layout to the directional keys (arrows), "home" and "end" button. I really dislike the layout found on other keyboards from the brand.

Physical Design

This is the best looking keyboard from Logitech, period. A surprising consistency of light intensity (I have some of this), basically down to using more LED lights, better plastics and in the end, making the product a little more expensive, but it shows. Overall quality of material and finish is great. Thin transparent edge gives classy look that is reminiscent of the high-end flat televisions. There are four levels of lighting, so that in a state of the keyboard may be too bright lighting.

Conclusion

I think that the Logitech Illuminated keyboard is nice and comfortable keyboard. The Key PerfectStroke system has good mechanical properties and convenient for use in general. I personally would prefer a shorter key travel (I type faster with a short trip), but you should try for yourself - it is fine. In the future, there are some things that Logitech could do to make it better: go wireless, make it smaller (width, height), cheaper and ... use aluminum?
